April 21st. Rain date April 22nd - Our 8th annual Mopar Weekend will be held at the Jackson Dragway. These two links will lead you to the event flyer and the Jackson Dragway site which has a map to the track.

Race brackets include foot brake, pro, and Viper. Due to a lack of manpower, there will not be a regular car show. Feel free to bring your Mopar out... we'll have an exhibition parking area and great company. Lonnie Cobb's Humboldt Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep is once again our main sponsor. All vehicles must be powered by Mopar or any other company currently or previously owned by Daimler-Chrysler (ie. Mitsubishi).

Saturday May 19th The West Tennessee Antique Car Show is at the Court Square in downtown Jackson. There are classes for trucks up to 1980 (both production and modified), Production cars up to 1980, Muscle cars up to 1974, Restoration in progress to 1980, Street Machines 1948 thru 1980. Many of our members attend this annual show.

June 30th Cruise to the Waverly drive-in move theater.

August 11th Cruse to the new Camden drive-in movie theater.

September 7-9 Monster Mopar Weekend at the Gateway International Raceway in Saint Louis.

September 15 Get your 4x4 truck and join us for a trip to the Coon Creek off-road vehicle Park near Dyersburg. We're meeting at the Jackson Dairy Queen at 9am.

October 6th Mopars In Millington show presented by Mopar Madness. 8am-3pm at the Millngton Naval Base. Contact Jody Hilton at 901-337-6067 for details.

October 6th We're starting the day in Memphis and finishing with our annual picnic. It will start at 4pm and be held at John Garner's new house in west Lexington.

September 7-9 Monster Mopar Weekend at the Gateway International Raceway in Saint Louis.

December 15th The Dairy Queen cruise-ins are finished until April. Our early-November trip to the drive-in theater was a bit chilly although we had a blast. But don't despair! There's still one more MMCT event planned for this year: We have reserved a space at the Lone Star Steakhouse at 2116 Emporium Drive (in front of Sam’s Wholesale Club) in Jackson from 4-7PM on Saturday December 15th. We will start with a short business meeting to discuss our 2008 Mopar Weekend then will start eating sometime between 4:30 and 5.

Other Events for 2007

2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from May through October - MMCT member Jeff Case invites you to the forth year of cruise-ins at the Dairy Queen at 2299 North Highland in Jackson. This is open to all makes and models. This continuing event attracts up to 75 vehicles ranging from street rods to muscle cars to Boss Hog V8 trikes who start gathering at 6PM. Things normally wrap up by 9:00. This is a low-key event organized by four MMCT members.
