add rigidity to the roadster body. The box frame, suspension parts,
wheels, block, heads, pistons, intake manifold, transaxle, radiator,
hood, hood side panels, doors, deck lid, and bumper frames are of
aluminum alloys. The front fascia and bumper covers are reaction
injection molding (RIM) urethane. The front and rear fenders, front
and rear quarter panels and rear valance panel are of a light and
rigid sheet molding compound (SMC). The car weighs 2,838 lbs.
Sound System: An AM/FM radio and 6 disc changer are coupled to 7 speakers and a 320-watt amplifier.
17" front wheels and 20" rear wheels are fitted with Good Year run-flat tires and contain internal air pressure sensors. The tires have traveled 30,000 miles. The fronts are in excellent condition. The rears will be replaced this year.
