Jackson Dairy Queen cruise-in

Three MMCT members started working with Jeff Case in early Spring of 2003 to start a regular cruise-in for the Jackson area. Jeff is the owner of the Dairy Queen at 2299 North Highland in Jackson and is now a MMCT member. The 4th season of cruise-ins was kicked off May 11th 2006 and are held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month May through October. They are open open to all makes and models.

The parking lot starts filling up at 6PM and up to 75 cruisers have come through before 9PM. Here are four parking lot pictures from the 5/11/06 cruise-in. Can you find nine Mopars?   Back of parking lot,   Another view from the back,   Front right,   Front left.

Picking up with pictures from previous years, here's John's roadrunner intimidating a Kamaro (see how it turned greenish brown). Some truely unique vehicles have turned up including some whose looks can be deceiving. Yes, that's a V8 5-speed RX-7 next to the plum crazy roadrunner. Things really get hopping after dark with everything from classics to late-model muscle. MMCT members take turns parking on the grass in front of Dairy Queen to help draw in the crowd. Here you see Dick's Prowler and David's Mopar-powered Mini Cooper S rally car.

See you there!
