Engine: Balanced & blueprinted 440 bored .30, Keith Black hypereutectic flat top pistons 10:1 compression, Mopar Performance 284° .484" cam, 6-quart hemi oil pan with ½" oil pickup, hi-volume oil pump, windage tray, ARP rod, main, and head bolts, SpeedPro rings, Edelbrock 84cc aluminum heads with roller rockers, aluminum water pump and housing, Mopar Performance dual plane intake, Holley 750 vacuum secondary carb, Mallory Unilite distributor.
Miscellaneous: Original or correct reproduction parts used whenever possible, Hedman "Elite" ceramic headers, DynoFlow stainless steel mufflers and X-pipe, American Racing "Torqthrust D" wheels, Mopar lightweight starter, Sony hi-power CD player w/Pioneer speakers. Every Winter brings a new project: Fresh engine rebuild and 4-speed installation in 2003, body restoration in 2004, rear suspension in 2005, and interior upgrades in 2006.
This car is used primarily for cruise-ins and can easily covers the 200-mile round trip to Memphis or Nashville. Of course, no self-respecting muscle car can be slow at the drag strip. The best time so far is 8.61 through the eighth... with hard street tires and full exhaust.
